Spring is my favorite season by far. Now I must admit I do love them all. I enjoy the changes of the seasons. Change for me is good, it keeps me from getting bored. This winter was brutal though and forever so long. I’m glad to see this change. Spring at my house means projects, spring cleaning (outside and inside both) and planting anything and everything I want. So far this year we have cleared another acre of land and we are still cutting. We aren’t sure as of yet whether or not we are going to get it ready to mow or fence it in for pasture. We will decide that a little later on.
My first planting project has begun this year. I decided to do a little update on some old pots I have had for several years. I went to Lowe’s early Monday morning and picked out some plants, soil and spray paint. I decided on Peacock Blue and Honeywood Valspar Spray Paint.
The next project is to pressure wash my house, garage and both porches, paint the door facings and shutters and seal our deck. As you can see the deck took a beating this winter.
I didn’t really plant anything in the Honeywood planters yet. They’ll probably be in the post I do when I finish my deck.
